The USATFSC Annual Meeting was held at 3pm on September 17, 2023 via Zoom. Quorum was met with representatives from 12 member clubs and 14 athletes present. The 2022 Annual Meeting Minutes, as well as the 2023-2024 Financial Report and Budget, were accepted and Committee Chairs presented their reports. Meeting reports and documents are posted on the Association website at usatfsc-annual-meeting.

Officials of the Year: Valerie Jacobs, Ronald Geohaghan & Marcus Thomas
Meritorious Service – Life Time Contributions: Tami Dennis of Mt Pleasant Track Club
The Officer Elections were conducted as follows:
Uncontested Elections voted by acclamation at meeting:
1st Vice President — Steve Mullaney
2nd Vice President — Eboni Thompkins-Webber
Treasurer — Ronald Geohaghan
Secretary — Ulysses Sherman
Contested Elections via electronic ballot after meeting:
President — The ballot tally from the ElectionBuddy platform was certified by the Voting Panel on Monday,

45 of 48 eligible voters cast ballots in the election for President of the USATF-SC Association.
Results:
Brian Jordan: 85.5%
Lawrence Terry: 14.5%
Brian Jordan was declared President.
Committee Members & Chairs are needed:
The new Administration will take over immediately and are in need of volunteers to join in the work of developing and improving the Association. If you are interesting in supporting the Association in any capacity, please submit the wufoo form found at: usatfsc-about-volunteers, or here.
Please submit ASAP to be considered for a Committee Chair or a Youth Committee position. Recruitment for all other volunteer positions will be on going.
USATF National Convention Delegates
The Delegate Selection Committee is requesting that anyone interested in attending the USATF National Convention, to be held November 30th – December 3rd, 2023 in Orlando FL, submit their names and area of interest to [email protected] on or before September 30th, 2023. Some areas needing representation include: Athletes (especially 10 year athletes), Coaches, Officials, and all Sport Committees. Selections shall be made by October 15th and all applicants will be informed the following week. USATFSC will be responsible for registration and room reservations unless potential delegates specify otherwise. Delegates will be required to make their own travel plans but will be reimbursed following submittal of their delegate report. Delegate selection will be made in accordance with USATFSC Standing Rule 3B and USATF delegate qualification standards.
