Committee Purpose
The Finance Committee is tasked with financial oversight and governance within the USATF South Carolina Association.
The USATF South Carolina Association Treasurer is responsible for receiving payments and for sending payments for invoices received and for in general paying the Association’s bills. The Treasurer is an elected Officer position.
The Finance Committee keeps track of and provides reporting on the Association’s cash flow. Reports are sent to the Board on a monthly basis, and an annual report is prepared for the USATF South Carolina Association Annual Meeting.
Additionally, the Finance Committee, working in conjunction with the Board, prepares the budget for the next fiscal year.
Audits are also the responsibility of the Finance Committee.
