Committee Purpose
The Athlete Advisory Committee is tasked with working to provide opportunities and support for USATF-SC elite athletes attempting to qualify for National Championships and Olympic Trials. The committee recommends that the Association continue support athletes by helping to provide high level events, and through the National Championship entry reimbursement program.
In 2021, USATF South Carolina provided financial support and entry reimbursement for all USATFSC members who qualified and competed in the 2020-21 Olympic Trials. This program will be up for renewal for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, and is expected to continue for each Olympiad thereafter.
