USATF South Carolina could use your help with our fundraiser on GoFundMe to create a new Para athletics Track & Field Meet. Please share, support, or donate—every small action counts.
Most Para meets require athletes to provide their own throwing chair, as well as providing their own implements (the things they will throw). At USATFSC, our mission includes promoting athletics and creating opportunities for athletes. Since we are trying to raise awareness of Para athletics and create opportunities for Para athletes, we believe in providing the equipment athletes will need to compete. After all, we are hoping to introduce Track & Field to Para athletes and some of those athletes may have no equipment or implements of their own. We do provide implements for athletes at the Junior Olympics (even though they are welcome to being their own), we believe we should extend the same courtesy and support to Para athletes. We humbly ask for your support in making this happen.
