Committee Purpose
The Open & Masters Track & Field Committee is tasked with supporting and growing Track & field for the Open and Masters athletes in South Carolina, , and hopefully increasing USATF South Carolina adult memberships.
The Committee is responsible for planning hosting the USATF South Carolina Open & Master Track & Field Championships. Often times, it is more cost-effective for the Committee to partner with an existing event. In that manner, the Committee and the Partner are co-hosts of the event.
This committee also works closely with the Youth Committee to coordinate the annual USATF South Carolina Open & Master Cross-Country Championships. The event is held on the same day and at the same venue as the USATF South Carolina Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships.
